Sometimes you need to learn a bit of everything from everywhere but…

I have learnt one essential thing from the streets; that the biggest favor you can do yourself is to just learn a bit of everything from everywhere. In other words, even if you are an engineer read law once in a while. You may not hold 20 MAs at the end of your random reads but just do. There comes a time when life lifts you from the comfort of your house and throws you amidst people who are talking things you have no idea about. It is not a good picture.

Mimi kuna siku Saitani alinitoa tu kwangu akanipeleka convention ya Law. Somehow my name was on the list, na kulikuwa na food plus sitting allowance. Baas, mimi nikapeleka minyoo yangu huko. Wacha niwekwe kwa kikao naskia tu wakisema “the guy was animus possidendi.” Then one of them turns over to get my opinion. Zangu zilikuwa tu kusmile hapo kama Nugu nikitingisha kichwa to everything that was being said. Njaa ilinigonga wanawane, wah.

Nilitoka kwa hiyo convention kama nimeenda straight kununua vitabu za Law, Medicine, Aviation na Engineering . . . Then raia hazijawahi niita convention ingine. Nkt.
